Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a Unit Coordinator for Brentwood Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.

The role focuses on managing clerical functions on the nursing unit to support patient care and safety, with flexibility to reassignment across units as needed. Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience working with a psychiatric patient population and previous secretarial experience preferred.
• License: Medical Assistant Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures adequate staffing on unit to meet patient demand and adjusts accordingly as needed.
• Manages nursing payroll and completes in a timely manner.
• Assists CNO and Nurse Managers with various administrative and clerical tasks as assigned.
• Manages PRN pool effectively and audits compliance with program.
• Advises CNO, Nurse Managers and House Supervisor of pending staffing issues.
