Chelsea Hospital, part of Trinity Health Michigan, is seeking a Unit Coordinator for the Evening shift to support the Med/Surg unit in Chelsea, MI. The role includes clerical tasks, medical records management, and direct patient and staff support in a 24-bed unit with diverse clinical needs.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and experience as a unit secretary, with familiarity of medical terminology. This is a full-time position with rotating weekends and holidays.

Employment Type Full timeShift Evening ShiftDescription Unit Coordinator Department: Atrium East – Med/Surg - Our Atrium East unit at our Chelsea hospital cares for Medical-Surgical patients. Patient diagnoses can vary from medical such as: COPD, Sepsis, withdrawal, GI bleeds, CHF or Surgical: bariatric, Mastectomy, colorectal surgeries, hernias. This unit has 24 beds and specializes in complex high acuity medical and surgical patients with length of stay from 3-5 days.Location: Chelsea, MI hospitalWhy Join Us?
