Job summary

Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated support staff member to assist both adult and pediatric patients and to promote positive interactions among staff, physicians, patients, families and visitors.

The role requires adherence to workflows, strong communication skills, infection control, and ongoing professionalism including AED certifications. High school diploma or equivalent is required, with an Associate's degree preferred.

SHIFT AND SCHEDULE

Full Time, Days, 7:00am-7:00pm

Essential Functions/Performance Expectations

• Follows expected workflows and processes set up for the delivery of support to patients and staff.
• Demonstrates positive effective communication, including education with patients and families, physicians and other healthcare team members, and professional communications skills.
• Provide a safe environment for patients, families and co-workers, including handwashing, and adherence to infection control policies.
• Demonstrate professionalism including current AED’s and other competencies, following dress code policies, participation in orientation of new team members.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree preferred
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred
