Boston Medical Center in Brockton, MA is seeking a Part Time Unit Coordinator for the Med Surg Unit 9 - 2A. The role supports daily operations of an inpatient psychiatric unit, including patient registration, intake coordination, and communications with staff and families.

Responsibilities include maintaining unit flow, handling calls/e-fax, verifying referrals, and ensuring confidentiality and compliance with guidelines.

Responsabilidades

• Patient Registration
• Coordinate and prioritize tasks, maintaining daily flow of the unit in a complex, rapidly changing environment
• Communicate with staff, families, and other departments utilizing effective communication skills
• Effectively coordinate communications involving incoming calls and e-fax
• Gather intake information and patient records
• Review referrals and verify all information
• Assist with data collection and reporting that complies with local, State and Federal guidelines
• Maintain confidentiality of all patient care information to assure rights are protected
• Maintain a good working rapport with interdepartmental personnel, as well as other external referring agencies
• Other duties as requested by supervisor
