Waverly Health Center is seeking a part-time Medical Secretary/Receptionist to support the nursing unit with clerical tasks and effective communication. The role includes answering phones, coordinating referrals and appointments, maintaining patient charts, and assisting with supply management in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, fluent English, and basic computer/system navigation skills.
FTE/Scheduled Weekly Hours: 0.75 / 30 / Weekend Package (United States of America)
Performs clerical/receptionist duties for the nursing unit and facilitates communication needs of the department.
May come in contact with hazardous chemicals or treatment modalities. The possibility exists of exposure to communicable disease due to working in a healthcare environment. Involvement in patient care may result in unavoidable work-related illnesses.
