Job summary

Midland Memorial Hospital is seeking a dedicated team member to support hospital staff and care for adult and pediatric patients. You will promote positive interactions with patients, families and visitors and help maintain a healing environment.

Shifts are full-time, days 7:00am–7:00pm. Key duties include following established workflows, communicating clearly with the care team, ensuring infection control and patient safety, and upholding professional standards and dress code while orienting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred.

SHIFT AND SCHEDULE

Full Time, Days, 7:00am-7:00pm

Essential Functions/Performance Expectations

• Follows expected workflows and processes set up for the delivery of support to patients and staff.
• Demonstrates positive effective communication, including education with patients and families, physicians and other healthcare team members, and professional communications skills.
• Provide a safe environment for patients, families and co-workers, including handwashing, and adherence to infection control policies.
• Demonstrate professionalism including current AED’s and other competencies, following dress code policies, participation in orientation of new team members.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates Degree preferred
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology preferred
