The Center for Perioperative Care (CPC) is a dynamic ambulatory nursing unit that serves as a critical part of the surgical patient journey at Massachusetts General Hospital. Located within Perioperative Services, the CPC provides comprehensive preoperative assessment, preparation, education, and care coordination for patients undergoing a wide range of surgical and procedural interventions. The unit cares for adult and pediatric patients, ensuring they are clinically prepared and supported prior to surgery.
