Job summary

Universal Health Services' West Henderson Hospital in the Las Vegas area is seeking a full-time CNA to support nursing operations on the unit and assist with clerical duties. You will participate in planning, organizing and evaluating patient care activities while ensuring compliance with state requirements and hospital policies.

The position requires a Nevada CNA license, completion of an approved CNA program, and BCLS certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of an approved CNA program and certification.
• Current CNA license in Nevada and BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating nursing unit activities and perform clerical/receptionist duties.
• Provide patient care/services as outlined by state requirements.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to care for patients appropriate to the unit.
