Job summary

The Valley Health System's West Henderson Hospital in Nevada is seeking a CNA to support nursing staff on the night shift. You will perform patient care tasks and clerical duties in the nursing unit and assist with various services as outlined by state regulations.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, completion of an approved CNA program with certification, and a current Nevada CNA license plus BCLS; basic PC skills and medical terminology knowledge are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program and certification.
• Current CNA license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BCLS certification required.
• Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating activities in the nursing unit.
• Perform clerical and receptionist duties.
• Provide patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state.
