Job summary

Universal Health Services provides healthcare services across the United States. The West Henderson Hospital unit seeks a dedicated nursing assistant to support daily operations, perform clerical duties, and deliver patient care under state guidelines.

Required CNA certification, Nevada CNA license, and BCLS; High School diploma preferred. This full-time day shift position emphasizes compassionate patient care in a 150-bed acute care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant program and certification.
• Current CNA license in the State of Nevada. Current BCLS certification required.
• Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
• Technical skills include Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting the planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the activities occurring in the nursing unit by performing clerical and receptionist duties, and performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state.
