Traditions at Camargo in Sellersburg, Indiana is seeking a Unit Coordinator who serves as a central communication hub for the care team, supporting nurses, caregivers, residents, and families. You will help manage care plans, schedules, and resident needs, collaborating with the Wellness Director and nursing staff.

This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and compassionate communication to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Recent experience as a Unit Coordinator in an assisted living community preferred.
• Experience assisting the Wellness Director with scheduling.
• Ability to create schedules for all nursing department areas.
• Collaborates with the nursing team to fill shifts.
• Detail oriented with strong communication and computer skills.
• Willing to be on-call as needed.

Responsibilities

As a Unit Coordinator, you’ll be a central point of communication for the care team, supporting nurses, caregivers, residents, and families. Your organizational skills and attention to detail will help ensure that care plans, schedules, and resident needs are managed efficiently and compassionately

Unit Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities

• Recent experience as an Unit Coordinator in an assisted living community preferred
• Will assist the Wellness Director with all the scheduling needs and work directly with them
• Must be able to do schedules for all areas of the nursing department
• Should be able to work in collaboration with the entire nursing team
• Must be able to fill open positions on the schedule with current staff through creative methods
• Must be detail oriented, computer literate and have excellent communication skills
• Should have great 'people skills'
• Should be able to be okay to be ‘on-call’

Unit Coordinator Qualifications and Skills

• CNA or Nursing Assistant Experience (Preferred)
• Appropriate license
