Unit Communications Associate | PICU | Part Time Benefited - (2500014M)
Description
Coordinates communication activities for the nursing unit, modeling exemplary customer service standards for patients, families, and internal customers. Maintains patient care records and documentation as per Health Information Management and Unit Support Services. Performs clerical duties and receptionist responsibilities to ensure efficient operation of the Unit Communication Center.
Qualifications
Minimum Education: High School Diploma or GED (Required); Associate's Degree and/or some college (Preferred)
Minimum Work Experience: 1 year in a healthcare environment (Required)
Skills/Knowledge: Proficiency in computer use, basic MS Word, excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, basic math skills, tactful interaction with staff, patients, and visitors, ability to respond to emergency situations, adherence to hospital policies, and maintaining a neat work environment.
