What You’ll Do in This Role:
As a Unit Clerk, you'll be the friendly face and steady hand that helps keep our facility running smoothly every day. You'll play a central role in coordinating communication, organizing admissions and discharges, and supporting residents and their families during some of life’s most important moments. If you're highly organized, compassionate, and love making things flow behind the scenes, this is the role for you!
Primary Responsibilities:
Manage incoming calls and warmly welcome visitors
Schedule resident appointments and coordinate transportation
Assist with admissions and discharges, including paperwork and signatures
Support the nursing and admissions teams using the EMR system
️ Track rented equipment and ensure timely returns to vendors
Maintain updated floor plans, postings, and communication materials
Keep contact lists current and assist with team communication
Provide administrative support to the Director of Nursing as needed
