The Unit Clerk at Grady Health System in Atlanta assists nursing and medical staff by performing clerical tasks that keep patient care units efficient. This role gathers, transcribes and manages patient care orders, processes admissions, discharges, and transfers, and helps organize the unit while maintaining a safe environment.

You will interact with patients, families and visitors, communicate effectively, and utilize technology to support performance improvement and patient advocacy.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong computer skills preferred.
• Experience working in a healthcare and clerical setting strongly preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Gather, transcribe and manage patient care orders.
• Process admissions, discharges and transfers.
• Organize the unit and maintain supplies/equipment.
• Maintain a safe environment and communicate effectively.

Conocimientos

Strong computer skills

Healthcare/clerical experience

BLS preferred

Educación
