Job summary

Solaris HealthCare College Park in Orlando, FL is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to support both clerical and direct patient care duties. You will manage admissions, records, communications, and coordination with multiple departments while assisting patients with daily activities and vital signs in a compassionate, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Clerical Duties:

• Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transfers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
• Maintain and update patient records, charts, and files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
• Answer and direct phone calls, relay messages, and assist visitors.
• Coordinate with various departments to facilitate patient care and unit operations.
• Prepare and process forms, reports, and correspondence as required.
• Order and manage inventory of office supplies and medical equipment.

Patient Care Duties:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Measure and record vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse.
• Assist with patient mobility, including turning, positioning, and transporting patients.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA; clerical experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
