Job summary

The Nemours Foundation in Wilmington, DE is seeking a Unit Clerk to join the CICU. This full-time role involves supporting unit functioning, assisting families, and coordinating clerical tasks across shifts.

Rotating shifts are 07:00–19:30 and 19:00–07:30; a high school diploma and AHA Healthcare Provider Certification are required. Previous inpatient clerk experience and medical terminology training are preferred.

Nemours is seeking a Unit Clerkto join our CICU in Wilmington, DE!This is a FULL-TIME positionconsisting of60 hours every 2 weeks. Rotating shifts, 0700-1930 and 1900-0730.

Essential Functions:

• Functions as a collaborative team member in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Greets and interacts with families in person and via phone.
• Completes unit clerical responsibilities to support unit functioning.
• Coordinates with staff to support patient care tasks and nursing workflow.
• Ensures an adequate stock of all necessary equipment and supplies in designated areas at established par levels.
• Engages with staff across multiple departments to obtain information and resources.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma required
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider Certification required
• Previous Inpatient Clerk experience preferred.
• Medical terminology training preferred.

Other Requirements:

• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Understanding of basic office skills, including proficiency in the use of computers.
