Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to support the nursing unit in Las Vegas, NV. You will assist with planning, organizing and evaluating activities while performing patient care and clerical duties as outlined by state regulations.

Qualifications include High school diploma or equivalent, Nevada CNA certification, and current BLS certification. Must maintain an active CNA license in Nevada and provide age-appropriate patient care as required.

Qualifications

Education: High school or equivalent preferred. Completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA Certification from Nevada Board of Nursing.

Technical Skills: Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.

License/Certification: Current CNA license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification required.

Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.

Category I: Job usually involves contact with patients or patient specimens. Exposure to blood, body fluids, non-intact skin or tissue specimens, is possible.
