Job summary

Desert View Hospital in a rural Nevada community seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support the nursing unit with patient care and clerical duties. The role emphasizes patient-centered care and adherence to hospital policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA Certification from Nevada Board of Nursing.

Job Description: Responsible for assisting the planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the activities occurring in the nursing unit by performing clerical and receptionist duties, and performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state

Qualifications

Education: High school or equivalent preferred. Completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA Certification from Nevada Board of Nursing

Technical Skills: Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.

License/Certification: Current CNA license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification required.

Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
