Job summary

Desert View Hospital is a 25-bed, acute care hospital set in a rural community. As a CNA, you will provide patient care and support to the nursing team in accordance with facility policies and standards. We value service excellence and teamwork in a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications include a Nevada CNA license, BLS certification, and high school diploma or equivalent. Basic PC skills and medical terminology are required to perform duties effectively on the unit.

Job Description: Responsible for assisting the planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the activities occurring in the nursing unit by performing clerical and receptionist duties, and performing patient care/service activities/procedures as outlined by the state.

Qualifications

Education: High school or equivalent preferred. Completion of education/experience necessary to obtain CNA Certification from Nevada Board of Nursing.

Technical Skills: Basic PC knowledge and medical terminology.

License/Certification: Current CNA license in the State of Nevada. Current BLS Certification required.

Other: Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served on the assigned unit/department.
