Brooks Rehabilitation is seeking a Unit Clerk to support clerical and receptionist duties at the nursing station, answer phones, transcribe physician orders, and maintain patient charts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receives hospital guests and directs them appropriately.
• Answer phones and take accurate messages.
• Transcribes physician orders and maintains patient charts.
• Maintains files and logs and supports other staff as needed.
• Checks appointment schedules and directs guests to appropriate areas.
• Admits patients as needed and monitors lobby patients.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

The Unit Clerk performs clerical and receptionist duties and assists in maintaining the physical environment of the nursing station.
