To be considered for this position, candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, along with previous clerical, administrative, or customer service experience. Previous experience as a Unit Clerk, Unit Secretary, or in a hospital or medical office setting is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, electronic medical records, physician order entry, and healthcare documentation is also preferred.
