Job summary

Elior Collegiate Dining is seeking an experienced Unit Chef to supervise and participate in the preparation of meals for various locations as assigned, onsite in Minneapolis. This role involves leading kitchen staff and shaping culinary operations across retail and catering services.

Ideal candidates will have culinary certification, 3+ years in culinary management, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 75% as needed.

Qualifications

• Certification by a recognized culinary institution or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time.
• At least three years of experience in culinary management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise culinary operations of retail and catering services.
• Plan menus based on market trends, customer preferences, and nutrition.
• Confer with district managers regarding daily aspects of dining service.
• Direct and coordinate the work of kitchen staff.
• Other tasks as assigned.
