Aerotek is hiring Assembly Technicians for the Grenada, MS area on the 2nd shift. This hands-on manufacturing role involves assembling large industrial units from start to finish, with overtime and strong benefits upon permanent hire.

You will work in a team, follow drawings, and use hand and pneumatic tools. The job emphasizes safety, reliability, and adaptability in varying weather conditions at an outdoor dock setting.

Responsibilities

• Assemble units according to drawings, quality standards, and safety procedures.
• Read and follow assembly drawings and instructions.
• Use hand and pneumatic tools such as impact guns, pliers, and wrenches.
• Perform frame and casing assembly.
• Complete A-Coil assembly and wiring routes.
• Perform sub-assembly mating and final assembly tasks.
• Identify and report defective or incorrect parts.
• Record completed work and production processes.
• Move between multiple workstations throughout the shift.

What You'll Do

• Assemble units according to drawings, quality standards, and safety procedures

Schedule

2nd Shift Monday-Thursday: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM

Fridays and Saturdays are currently mandatory overtime on the same shift schedule.

Work Environment

This is a hands-on manufacturing role in a large plant environment. Final assembly takes place outdoors on the dock where large units are staged for cranes and truck loading.

This is an outdoor position and employees should be comfortable working in varying weather conditions and temperatures.

You will spend your day moving, standing, assembling, and working as part of a team to deliver a quality finished product.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grenada, MS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
