Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian’s ED unit is seeking a Unit Assistant to greet patients and families and support care teams with compassionate, efficient service during the night shift. You will coordinate appointments, handle clerical duties at the unit station, welcome visitors, answer phones, page nurses, and help maintain accurate patient information flow in a fast-paced environment.

Requires a High School diploma or GED, at least one year of clerical experience, and data entry skills; an Associate's

Cultivate a courteous and respectful demeanor while multitasking between people and responsibilities.

The shift for this position will be 11:00pm - 7:00am, Monday - Friday and alternating weekends.

Preferred Criteria: Associate's Degree Customer service experience in a healthcare environment Knowledge of medical terminology

Salary Range: $33.57-$35.52/Hourly
