Purpose
Reporting to the Director of Accreditation and Assessment, the Unit Assessment Manager manages the operational functions required for outcomes assessment, continuous improvement, and institutional-effectiveness documentation across service, support, and administrative units.
The position supports the Director of Accreditation and Assessment in ensuring institutional readiness for SACSCOC expectations related to service, support, and administrative unit assessment and institutional effectiveness. It provides operational leadership, analytical expertise, and cross-university coordination for outcomes development, unit assessment, and continuous improvement across these units.
The Unit Assessment Manager advances a data-informed culture of institutional effectiveness by supporting units in mission and outcomes alignment, measurable outcomes development, assessment planning, service improvement, and evidence-based decision-making.
