GrowNYC's Union Square Greenmarket Operations Coordinator role supports the flagship market's day-to-day operations in New York City. The position involves hands-on market operations, equipment and supply management, and in-field supervision to ensure smooth events.

The schedule is 35-40 hours per week with early start times, including weekends, and in-person work at GrowNYC's Manhattan office. Full benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Market Operations and Administration: mark farmer spaces, assist with load-in logistics, enforce rules, maintain farmer vehicle inventory, oversee seasonal parking permits.
• Equipment and Supply Management: track inventory, deliver supplies, repair market equipment, oversee Union Square Truck operations.
• Site Lead Training: assist in training Seasonal Site Leads and flag performance concerns.
