SEIU United Service Workers West (SEIU-USWW) seeks an organizer to represent janitorial members across Orange County. You will engage workers, enforce contracts, and advance social/political issues in their communities.
Responsibilities include planning actions, campaigns, and mobilization, plus recruiting and developing member leaders, maintaining member records, and communicating with employers to resolve disputes.

Working under the direction of the OC Janitorial Division Coordinator & Janitorial Division Director, this individual will be part of the OC Janitorial Division which represents janitorial members throughout Orange County, including contract enforcement and member engagement to make gains in the workplace and to address larger social/political issues in their communities.
Graduation from an accredited college or university in relevant field or equivalent experience in labor & community organizing that would provide for the following knowledge of, skills & abilities.
