Job summary

DPR Construction in Alabama is seeking a concrete finisher to apply finishing techniques to freshly placed concrete, ensuring high-quality, durable, and visually appealing results. You will execute screeding, floating, troweling, edging, and jointing, coordinating with site leadership to sequence pours while upholding safety standards.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of concrete finishing experience, a high school diploma or GED, and OSHA 10 certification (preferred; required within 6 months).

• Follows established safety and quality guidelines during all phases of concrete finishing work.
• Inspects finished surfaces for defects and makes corrections to meet standards.
• Assists in preparing work areas, setting forms, and cleaning up after finishing operations.
• Works collaboratively with crew leads and foremen to sequence work and maintain schedule adherence.
• Maintains tools, materials, and equipment in clean, safe, and operational condition.

Job Summary

Applies fully functioning finishing techniques to concrete surfaces, ensuring high-quality, durable, and visually appealing results. Executes standard and non-standard concrete finishing tasks such as screeding, floating, troweling, edging, and jointing independently. Collaborates with site leadership to sequence pours and maintains strict safety and quality standards.
