Qualifications

  • Must join the local union.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior experience operating a variety of heavy equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent vision or corrective lenses.
  • Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Sound understanding of safety guidelines.
  • Ability to follow directions and work under pressure.
  • Ability to work extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

  • Maneuver heavy equipment to ensure accurate removal and placement of materials.
  • Load and offload rocks, debris, and other materials.
  • Observe safety codes at all times.
  • Communicate with coworkers to clarify project specs.
  • Report injuries and accidents to the line manager.
  • Advise on upgrades, repairs, and replacements.
  • Help keep the site clean and organized at end of shift.
  • Suggest workflow improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Align with Clark Standards of Excellence.
