Columbus Distributing Company is seeking CDL Class A Drivers to join our team for local deliveries within Franklin County, Ohio. Enjoy home daily schedules with a 4-day work week, and a supportive family-owned environment.

Recent CDL-A graduates are encouraged to apply, with temps accepted and a safe, clean driving record required. Responsibilities include loading trucks in sequence, reading code cards, stocking shelves, and accurately collecting payments from customers using an iPad.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license required or in progress with recent CDL-A graduates encouraged to apply.
• Ability to perform local home daily routes with no over-the-road travel.
• Must maintain a safe driving record and warehouse safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Read code cards and rotate warehouse products.
• Build pallets of beer and load delivery trucks in sequence to satisfy routes.
• Keep work area clean and safe and adhere to warehouse protocols.
• Accurately collect payments from customers, including iPad transactions.
• Complete driver paperwork during check-in and maintain accurate records.
• Use RF gun to pick and pull orders and ensure product integrity.

This position offers the opportunity to deliver locally throughout our service area with no over-the-road travel, allowing drivers to be home daily, along with a 4-day work week that provides an excellent work-life balance.
