Job summary

Superior Beverage Group in Newark, OH is seeking a full-time CDL-A Delivery Driver to service Northeastern and Central Ohio. You will use company vehicles to deliver beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to retail accounts on assigned routes and complete daily driver logs.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, starting at 5 AM until delivery completion, with home for dinner. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, 401(k), vacation, personal time, disability coverage, and life insurance;

Qualifications

• Maneuver 168 lb kegs and 35 lb cases at delivery locations.
• Solid math skills for calculating amounts.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and keep logs.
• Operate trucks, forklifts, and dolly equipment.
• Work in various outdoor weather conditions.
• Hold a valid CDL A license.

Superior Beverage Group is a family owned and operated company that has been around since 1922. Our Support CDL A Delivery Drivers provide countless smiles across all Northeastern and Central Ohio. They utilize company vehicles to deliver cases of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to retail accounts based on established assigned routes. Our drivers must be able to read and understand a map, complete daily driver logs as well as pre and post-trip truck inspections. This position requires you to work in all weather extremes including hot or cold, wet or dry conditions. This is a fast-paced, physical environment that provides our customers with all their beer and wine needs.

Typical Duties:

• Complete delivery route as sequenced within time constraints.
• Rotate company products in retail accounts.
• Accurately calculate the amount due and collect payment for product delivered at each account.
• Correctly complete all required paperwork during the driver check-in process at the completion of the daily route.
