Northland Concrete & Masonry in Allentown, PA, is seeking experienced Finishers to join our union contractor team. You will finish and smooth concrete, maintain grades and elevations, and operate power trowels on complex commercial projects.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Concrete Finisher in commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of finishing techniques and equipment.
• Ability to read construction drawings and understand grades/elevations.
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Union membership or eligibility to join the appropriate trade union.

Responsibilities

• Finish and smooth freshly placed concrete using hand and power tools.
• Set and maintain proper grades, elevations, slopes, and surfaces.
• Perform edging, jointing, floating, troweling, and other finishing techniques.
• Operate concrete finishing equipment, including power trowels.
• Read and interpret drawings, elevations, and specifications.
• Assist with concrete placement, forming, and related activities as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Work closely with foremen, laborers, and other crew members to meet project schedules and quality standards.
