Job summary

City Wide Jani, Inc. is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Union Janitorial Technician to provide evening cleaning services at a commercial facility three evenings per week.

This part-time role is a union position with pay in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, and offers opportunities for additional hours as business needs permit.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Strong attention to detail and dependable attendance are essential.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to pass site onboarding requirements if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors.
• Dust accessible surfaces and blinds.
• Clean entrance glass and wipe door/window frames.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms.
• Restock restroom supplies.
• Clean breakroom and kitchen areas.
• Wipe and disinfect tables, counters, sinks, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Vacuum carpeted areas, including corners and edges.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and professional environment while working independently and efficiently.

Job Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Empty trash and replace liners
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
• Dust accessible surfaces and blinds
• Clean entrance glass and wipe door/window frames
• Clean and disinfect restrooms
• Restock restroom supplies
• Clean breakroom and kitchen areas
• Wipe and disinfect tables, counters, sinks, and other high-touch surfaces
• Vacuum carpeted areas, including corners and edges
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance throughout the facility
