Job summary

City Wide Jani, Inc. is seeking Cleaning Technicians to maintain cleanliness and sanitation at assigned locations in the Chicago area. Reliability, attention to detail, and professionalism are essential as you perform routine janitorial duties.

You will follow safety protocols for chemical use and PPE, report needs to supervisors promptly, and provide excellent customer service while representing City Wide Jani, Inc. on site.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and ability to follow instructions.
• Must pass criminal background check.
• Must submit to drug testing.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
• Ability to push/pull up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, walk, or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic janitorial duties
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, and common areas
• Dust and sanitize surfaces
• Complete site-specific cleaning tasks and seasonal/project work as assigned
• Follow safety protocols for chemical use and PPE
• Report equipment or supply needs to supervisors promptly
• Maintain punctual attendance and complete assignments on schedule
• Provide excellent customer service and represent City Wide Jani professionally

Position Summary
