Qualifications
8-10 years of job-related experience, preferably in a shift manager or supervisory role.
Current City of Chicago Stationary Engineer License required.
Active member of Local 399 is necessary.
Universal CFC certification is mandatory.
OSHA 10 Certification or higher preferred.
Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
Responsibilities
Manage operations and assign work orders to staff.
Consult with clients to schedule maintenance tasks.
Formulate preventive maintenance programs for equipment.
Monitor building systems to ensure operation within design capabilities.
Inspect work performed by engineering staff.
