Qualifications

• 8-10 years of job-related experience, preferably in a shift manager or supervisory role.
• Current City of Chicago Stationary Engineer License required.
• Active member of Local 399 is necessary.
• Universal CFC certification is mandatory.
• OSHA 10 Certification or higher preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.

Responsibilities

• Manage operations and assign work orders to staff.
• Consult with clients to schedule maintenance tasks.
• Formulate preventive maintenance programs for equipment.
• Monitor building systems to ensure operation within design capabilities.
• Inspect work performed by engineering staff.
