Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Union CDL Delivery Truck Driver to join our team in a role where you can be home daily with no nights or weekends. The position offers a daytime schedule and a pay rate of $26.90 per hour, with responsibilities including delivering materials to customers and handling returns.

You will perform daily vehicle inspections, maintain safety standards, and support warehouse operations as needed. A valid CDL and DOT medical card are required to start.

Qualifications

• CDL A or B required and valid
• 1–3 years of commercial driving experience
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Maintain DOT medical card and meet CDL requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Background in warehouse/logistics a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Able to navigate basic technology such as tablets or smartphones

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly
• Process customer returns and verify product for credit
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report issues
• Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements
• Assist warehouse with order pulling, receiving, staging and stocking
• Possibility of overtime as needed
• Adhere to all safety regulations and wear PPE as required

Ferguson is seeking a Union CDL Delivery Truck Driver to join our team!

The pay rate for this role is $26.90 hourly
Schedule: Monday through Friday from 5:00 to 1:30 pm or until route completion

Qualifications:

• Must hold a valid CDL A or B
• 1-3 years of commercial driving experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads
• Air brake endorsement required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying, staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
