Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, LLC. seeks a Union CDL Delivery Truck Driver to join our team. The role pays $26.90 per hour with a Mon-Fri schedule (5:00–1:30 or until route completion).

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to customers using pallet jack and dolly; ensure delivery ticket is matched to material.
• Pick up customer returns and validate product matches for credits.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections; fuel and report issues.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures; wear PPE as required.
• Assist warehouse with pulling/packing orders and stocking incoming material; overtime as needed.
• Must comply with safety regs and procedures including PPE requirements.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL A or B 1-3 years of commercial driving experience
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Meet and maintain qualifications for CDL requirements
• Follow all DOT standards and regulations
• Must currently have, acquire, and/or maintain a valid DOT Medical card in order to meet driver requirements.
• Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50lbs
• A background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving and delivery is a plus
• Strong communicator with a customer-focused approach
• Able to navigate and operate basic technology, including iPads
• Air brake endorsement required

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials to the customer, which includes utilizing pallet jack and two-wheel dolly to load and unload and ensuring delivery of ticket with material
• Pick up customer returns, validating product match for credit requests
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report any problems or issues to supervisor
• Follow and implement all company safety policies and procedures
• Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment as needed, as well as receiving, verifying staging and stocking incoming material
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the correct usage of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes wearing a safety harness with a maximum weight capacity of 400 lbs.
