Job summary

CPI is hiring a Jockey Driver (Union) on a permanent placement basis in Johnstown. The role requires daytime preparation, yard checks, and daily paperwork for vehicle conditions, with responsibilities including trailer movement and inventory tracking.

Candidates must be able to work up to 12 hours, weekends, and shifts as assigned. Pay is $25.45 per hour, with openings on Sun-Thurs, Mon-Fri nights, and additional Mon-Fri night slots.

Qualifications

• Must have a CDL Class A license.
• Must be able to work up to 12 hours a day.
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50–100 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for day – extensive yard check at start of shift.
• Organize and clean work area daily.
• Fill out Vehicle Condition Report daily and process paperwork.
• Maintain trailer inventories and track raw material deliveries.
• Move trailers on and off docks in a timely manner.
