About
We have an exciting opportunity for a Unified Communications Engineer to join our team of experts and be involved in the rare opportunity to implement a new datacenter supporting all of United Wholesale Mortgage operations. You will ensure the stable operation of our enterprise Cisco Unified Communications systems using a Plan, Build, Operate model.
What You Will Be Doing
- Administration of Cisco Voice Applications and third-party tools
- Monitor communication server clusters to ensure peak performance
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve system outages and trouble tickets
- Provide capacity, performance, uptime, and security reporting
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of system design, operation, and procedures
- Lead project implementations and other tasks
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage or emergency response as needed
- Provide in-person training and support to team members
- Mentor other telecom team members
Required
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
- 7+ years of experience in the administration of Cisco Unified Communication systems, specifically:
- Cisco Unified Communications Manager
- Cisco Unity Connection
- Cisco IM & Presence
- Cisco Contact Center Enterprise
- CUBE/Gateway troubleshooting experience
- Cisco Emergency Responder
- Call Recording Applications
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Experience with scripting/API
- Experience with SQL, MS DB, MySQL or MariaDB
- Vendor Relationship Management
- Effective communication skills with leadership, team members, and clients
- Experience working in ticketing systems (ServiceNow)
- Experience with VMWare Servers
- Experience with Disaster Recovery / Business Continuity
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-moving environment, positive attitude, willingness to learn
- Experience working with IT frameworks (Agile, ITIL)
- Onsite, full-time attendance in Pontiac, Michigan
- Participate in product recommendations, POC, and evaluations
- Present solutions to business leaders on technology recommendations
- Ability to work 100% onsite in Pontiac, Michigan
Preferred
Computer-related degree or equivalent experience, or working towards CCIE Collaboration.
