• Proven track record of completing tasks related to coaching duties.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the administration of the middle school’s Unified Bocce team.
• Coordinate with the athletic director and Special Olympics Maryland to ensure quality program standards are met.
• Develop and implement weekly bocce practice plans with instruction for all participants.
• Organize and lead all practice sessions with recruitment and support of assistant coaches.
• Promote inclusive sports experience following Unified Sports principles.
• Plan and manage competition strategies for individuals and the team at matches.
• Handle all paperwork required by the school system and Special Olympics Maryland.
• Recruit and train volunteers to manage hosting Unified Bocce matches.
• Attend mandatory Unified Sports Bocce Coaches Training.
