Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience is required.
• 2+ year’s experience in Underwriting Support.
• Surety Bond processing experience preferred.
• 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day management of underwriting support staff.
• Authorizing renewals and endorsements under supervision and within authority guidelines.
• Monitoring work progress and reassigning work as required.
• Ensuring service levels are achieved by continuous monitoring of available staff and transaction volumes.
• Responsible for ensuring goals for productivity, quality of transactions and customer inquiries are met.
• Developing and implementing standardized processing procedures.
• Creating and implementing quality control procedures.
• Reviewing work on processing system for accuracy and completeness.
• Identifying trends and developing plans for eliminating causes of recurring errors.
