Job summary

ParetoHealth is seeking an Underwriting Intern to gain hands-on experience in underwriting and data analytics. You will work closely with experienced professionals, contributing to tools, reports, and workflows that support underwriting decisions.

Ideal candidates are pursuing Finance, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or related fields, available June–August in our Philadelphia, PA office, and rising juniors or seniors eager to learn and collaborate in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Risk Management, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Available to work in our Philadelphia, PA office from June through August.
• Rising Junior or Rising Senior at an accredited college or university.

Position Summary

At Pareto, we specialize in delivering innovative risk management and underwriting solutions to drive sustainable success for our clients. Our Underwriting team focuses on risk assessment, plan design, and leveraging analytics to make data-driven decisions that empower our business and clients. As an Underwriting Intern you will gain hands-on experience in underwriting, and data analytics.

You will work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to impactful projects supporting Underwriting activities at Pareto, build expertise in plan design and team enablement in a collaborative environment. Overall, you will develop technical and project management skills that can set you apart in your career.
