Starr Insurance seeks an Underwriting Services Technician to support underwriting and operations by handling requests, submissions, and data entry with accuracy and timeliness. This role emphasizes meticulous attention to detail and ownership of multi-step tasks within a collaborative environment.

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Robust communication skills through email, messaging, calls and meetings.
• Meticulous attention to detail with ownership of multi-step tasks.
• Ability to operate with agility and efficiency in a team-based environment.

Mansioni

• Assisting with the reservation and clearance of new and renewal submissions in accordance with established procedures and quality metrics.
• Assisting with timely response to policy and loss run requests according to Starr Claims guidelines.
• Responding to questions and troubleshooting issues to ensure timely submission entry and premium bookings.
• Assisting with quality reviews of manually issued binders and invoices.
• Logging receipt of requests for endorsement of policies for record keeping purposes
• Completing submission and payment of business invoices.
• Assisting the primary Booking team with Month End Close or other ad hoc booking efforts.
• Fielding urgent tickets and hotline calls per guidelines, directing them appropriately.
• Performing other related work as assigned by management.
