Job summary

NWU in the United States is seeking an underwriting internship student to support the underwriting team. You will learn insurance coverages, contracts, and company philosophy and procedures to inform underwriting decisions.

You will analyze loss experience, financial conditions, and risk characteristics, become familiar with policies, manuals, forms, and endorsements, and communicate effectively with independent agents and colleagues through written and verbal channels.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college as junior or senior.
• Able to organize data, multi-task, and work independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Able to resolve complex issues.
• Interested in learning product knowledge through approved programs.

Your Role

Compensation & Benefits
