Job summary

Thinklance LLP offers a 10-week underwriting internship aimed at learning renewal accounts and Admiral business development. You will train with senior underwriters and analysts to price and manage renewal risk while supporting service standards in a collaborative summer project.

The role emphasizes analytical thinking, communication, and independence, with a hybrid in-person/remote schedule and opportunities to gain practical risk-management experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree focused on Risk Management and Insurance or related field, with a GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Preference for rising Junior or Senior students interested in practical career-related work experience.
• Prior work experience preferred.
• Career interest in Underwriting and Excess and Surplus Lines.
• Ability to assess priorities, manage deadlines, and work independently.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary of $25 per hour.
