Job summary
Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Summer Talent internship participant to join Global Risk Solutions for an 11-week program in Chicago, IL. You will work with seasoned underwriters, analyze business information, and learn how risks are evaluated and priced to support growth and profitability.
Throughout the internship you will develop analytical, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills, contribute to real underwriting projects, and explore career paths within our risk
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Risk Management & Insurance, Economics, Business, or comparable with at least one semester remaining following Summer 2027 with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- 0–2 years of professional experience.
- Strong analytical, decision-making, and negotiating skills.
- Solid interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service.
- Willing to complete professional designation(s) and continued insurance education post graduation.
- Available to work full-time for 11 weeks.
- Permanent work authorization in the United States.
