Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is offering a 11‑week USRM Underwriting internship designed to teach how underwriters evaluate business operations, assess risk, and craft insurance solutions for commercial clients. You will work with experienced professionals, build analytical and communication skills, and gain exposure to the fundamentals of risk assessment and relationship management.

The role requires pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Risk Management & Insurance, Economics, or Business with a 3.0+

Qualifications

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with at least one semester remaining after Summer 2027 and a minimum 3.0 GPA.
0–2 years of professional experience.
Strong analytical, decision‑making, and negotiating skills.
Solid interpersonal skills and a passion for customer service.
Willing to complete professional designation(s) and continued insurance education post graduation.
Available to work full‑time for 11 weeks.
Must have permanent US work authorization.
