Job summary

The Travelers Indemnity Company is offering an Underwriting Internship Program within Bond & Specialty Insurance (BSI). The internship runs roughly 10–12 weeks from late May to mid-August and does not provide housing. Interns will gain hands‑on underwriting experience, work with agents and clients, and participate in company‑wide activities.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. and may not require visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's degree in business or related fields.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

• Complete challenging internship projects with a designated coach.
• Learn to leverage analytical and AI tools to assess outputs with quality and accuracy.
• Participate in Enterprise Internship events including Speaker Series, Networking, and Intern Symposium.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Liberal Arts (with business focus preferred), Management, Marketing, Risk Management and Insurance
