Job summary

ERIE Insurance is offering a Future Focus Underwriting Internship in its Corporate Office in Erie, PA. The program provides real-world experience in risk assessment, data analysis and portfolio management while working closely with underwriting and risk control teams.

The internship runs May 2027 to August 2027, with mentorship, networking opportunities with senior leaders including the CEO, and relocation assistance for eligible participants.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Pursuit of Bachelor's degree with sophomore year completed in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs various tasks related to the achievement of division objectives.
• Conducts research and gathers information and assists in creating presentations as required.
• Analyzes data and reports findings.
• Verifies and enters data into appropriate system, and updates electronic files.
• Provides clerical and administrative support as needed.
• Completes special projects as required.
