Job summary

Novacore Insurance Services, LLC is seeking high-performing college students for its 2027 Summer Underwriting Internship. As an intern, you will work alongside underwriters and underwriting assistants within niche market segments, gain hands-on experience, and participate in mentorship and networking events.

The program runs May 17 through August 5 and is hybrid with three onsite days per week and two remote days.

• Current college student, junior year preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and focus.

Responsibilities

• Fully assist team members as needed.
• Interact with agents to provide superior customer service via phone and email.
• Review submissions for completeness, accuracy, and request information as needed.
• Assist with policy issuance, binding, and billing.
• Review documentation and prepare files under underwriting guidance.
• Follow up on open items and request additional information to finalize tasks.
• Attend team meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
